Flight of Freedom - update #3

Wow, it's been about two years since I've posted an update on this project. Whoops. This is Flight of Freedom, a Dimensions kit that I'm making for my FIL.

This is what it will look like. Some day, anyway...

And here's where I am so far. Pathetic, I know. :p

It's very slow going, since it's pretty much solidly stitched. At about 12x16 inches (per the kit info) on 16 count fabric, that's almost 50,000 stitches. The background is almost all half stitches, but that's still a LOT of stitching.

Well, it'll get done. Eventually.

Strawberry Fields Forever - post #1

Another new start for a stitching challenge group. This is Strawberry Fields Forever by Blackbird Designs. This isn't my usual style and I'm not even a fan of The Beatles, but something about the colors and the composition of this one really caught my eye. :3

This was just four days of stitching! Really pleased with my progress so far. :)

Finery of Nature - post #2

Quick update on Finery of Nature. :)

Done with all the cross-stitching on the dragonfly panel, so now I'm alternating between the nearby border and the backstitching. Looking good so far!
