half a willow

Well, roughly half of a Willow Queen, that is. There's still some branches and swirls around the top part, and of course, half a ton of beads, but I'm pleased with my progress so far!

Still a lot of brown to go, but at least her pretty face (and crazy antlers) can keep me company while I deal with a sea of boring dress. Might even start beading to break up the brown a bit, since I finally put her on a q-snap that's big enough to hold the entire piece of fabric! :3

  1. Your lady looks far from been fantastic. The browns fit perfectly with the autumn and the antlers is really a bit crazy but beautiful to look at . Wish you continued good luck and look forward to the progress .

  4. I have the same problem, whenever I work on something that majors in one colour I do start to crave others, she looks fantastic though, and she'll be stunning when she's finished

  5. Great progress! Now that you're working with Q-snaps I agree that you should do some beading to break the monotony of the brown. Can't wait to see more... :)
