remember Butterfly Garden?

Probably not, because I haven't posted about it since July.  But I'm finally creeping up on a finish, so it's time for a picture!  I didn't want to unroll the fabric or take it off the q-snaps, so as a reminder, this is what the completed project looks like:

And here's where I am.  Just finished the verbena, which means I have only three flowers left!

Yes, I'm aware that this is probably the worst picture I've ever taken for this blog.  It's dark in here, so I had to use the flash, and that always looks terrible.  Blah.  The colors aren't quite as washed out in real life.

I think I'm going to make this my focus until I finish it.  This poor thing has dragged on so long and I'd really like it done before the TWO YEAR mark.  Ugh.  That's pretty bad for me...

  1. Umm... maybe you'll enjoy it more because of the wait? It's going to be a beautiful finish!

  2. It's so pretty...definitely worth the wait however long!

  3. Wow the colours are stunning. Good luck with the last 3, it's a beautiful stitch!

  4. It's very pretty though! Just think how happy (or maybe relieved) when its finished.

I love comments! If you have a blog, leave me a link so I can follow you. :)
