flowers, mermaids, and framing!

I should probably take pictures more often, but I get lazy about that when I'm on a roll!  All that's left on An Important Flower is a bit of pink and the second light green motif on the right side.

It's too big to fit the entire thing on the qsnap at this point, but there's more on the left that you can't see. :)

I'm anticipating a finish this week and I thought I'd reward myself by starting Red by Mirabilia... but maybe I should continue on with a WIP and go for another finish.  Plus I got super distracted by one of the new Mira releases from today, Mermaid Azure:

So then I started thinking about fabrics, since I just finished taking pictures to update my fabric gallery.  First up, a total joke but kind of amusing... I call this "shark infested waters" ... hehehe. XD

Okay, probably not the best idea but you have to admit that's pretty funny.  Here are six serious selections.  It's going to be hard to choose just one!

Sigh.  I love mermaids. :)

Finally, framing in progress.  Still a lot more to do...

  1. Gorgeous projects and what a lot of progress you have made on your Important Flower. If you decide not to go for the shark-infested fabric, I love the second one best.

  3. The framed designs look so good. I vote for Shark-infested fabric, it does look great. But if not I would go for number two too :) xx

  4. Wow, I thought the picture of the irises was a lot bigger! They all look so awesome in the frames. I think the middle fabric, top row looks the prettiest personally, but in this case it's up to what you think is prettiest because you're going to be looking at it all the time.

    1. Yeah, the irises are tiny! They look big because there's a lot of stitches but the fabric count is pretty small. :3

Ahahaa, Marfisa is all NO YOU WILL NOT USE THE SHARK FABRIC FOR ANYTHING BUT AN ACTUAL PICTURE OF A SHARK. So I think that second one will work out. ;)

  6. Hahaha...I love shark infested waters! Seeing as that's your jokey one, I think it would be a toss up between top left and the two middle ones for me.
