Mega Mini Month Madness - November post #1!

Whee!  Justine over at Justine's Cross Stitch has decided to continue the MMMM event into November, so I've joined in for another month!  There's still time to sign up before November 5 if you'd like to participate!

Since I'm taking on NaNoWriMo again this year, I think it will be good to keep my focus on smaller projects instead of going back to one of my big monsters. :3  By the way, if you're participating in NaNo as well, feel free to add me as a writing buddy!

I still need to pick a new project, but for now, I've done as much as I can on witchy Fiona.  I ran out of the dark blue kreinik so I'll need to pick up a new spool before I can complete her.

I hate paying shipping for just one thread, so I may pick up a chart from my wishlist too.  It's been a while since I've done any shopping!

I'll go stash diving tomorrow to pick out my next project! :)

  1. Love Fiona! She really pops on that fabric. I'm laughing at you having to buy something new to justify postage on your floss. I wonder how many of us do that?!

    1. Thanks! She's actually on perforated paper and will be cut out and assembled from several pieces at the end. I think the mottling is from my skin oils getting into the paper... whoops. :p

I think we ALL do it! :D

  3. Fiona looks fab! I've never heard of "stash diving" before. It conjours up an image of rummaging around in a paddling (or swimming) pool full of kits and charts. That's put a great big smile on my face this morning! :)

  6. Fiona is fantastic.

And I hate that shipping for one thread thing, too... I might have ordered Just Nan's new mouse and another chart to go along with the single kreinik I needed last night ;)

    1. I ordered this morning too! Kind of proud of myself for picking just one chart instead of throwing my entire wishlist in the cart. The spending challenge I've been part of all year has really made me rethink how I shop. :D
