Yup yup, it's a tail. You might argue that this isn't the entire tail, but I'd say this is the tail and the missing part is the fin. :p I'd also say this is pretty amazing progress for just two days! You can really see the flowers on her tail, especially from a distance. When I stare at it up close, it just looks like a weird mess, but in the picture it's very clear that she has flowers all over her tail.
Tomorrow will be happy fun fin time. Well, and probably the entire next week, since that fin is pretty monstrous. :3
Once I lose steam on the fin, I'll be good and get my round robin finished up too!
Next time I'll post some pics of my amazing Crafty Kitten fabric haul that finally arrived today. :D
Her fin looks amazing! Also, I love your Tardis needleminder! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I didn't think I would like the colors, but now that the entire part is done, it looks pretty good. :3 And I love my dorky needleminder! :D
DeleteGreat progress! This is a wonderful project, I really enjoyed doing this design.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours so far. She's looking good! Can't wait to see your Crafty Kitten fabric haul. I love that website too!! :)
ReplyDeleteIf the weather cooperates today, I'll take some pictures of the fabric! It's been unusually cloudy and/or rainy but today looks like a sunny (and HOT, sob) day so far. :)
DeleteShe is looking great *•*
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so beautiful and I love them on that fabric. Fantastic work!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The fabric is Lady of the Lake from Steph's Fabby... I always forget to name the fabric when I post. :3 I'm really loving this mermaid now, it just took me a while to get over all that orange! It's my least favorite color, but it looks really good with all the other colors. :)
DeleteIt's looking great with vibrant colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours - looking forward to seeing how she looks with a fin too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And me too... shouldn't be too long of a wait, though, I'm making good progress every day. :)
DeleteNice tail! LOL. Love it against your fabric, it looks amazing!
